    The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce offers many Connection Groups for specialized networking ranging from HR to Contractor Trades. Here is a brief summary of these networking opportunities.

    Ashland Area Business Connection meetings are held bi-monthly - Thursday Mornings. 1st Thursday meeting will include topic and discussion that is relevant to your business. CLICK HERE for a schedule of upcoming meetings. 3rd Thursday meeting will be focused on "Networking Aerobics" techniques. This small group of important local business people is the perfect venue for you. Polish your marketing techniques while enjoying candid conversation and discussion on the current topics and connect with others who want to run a successful business in their community. Come prepared to talk about your business, learn some valuable tips and participate in networking at its finest. Looking forward to seeing you there! Meeting times are 8:00-9:00 am at Downtown Perk & Dessert Oasis. These are free events. Food and beverages are your responsibility.

    HR ConnectionThe HR Connection Group offers interactive discussions on the most current topics so that you can better serve your businesses while providing a forum for work related issues that range from simple to difficult. "Since I started attending the HR Connection Meetings, I have learned some valuable information that I use on a daily basis.     Women in Business was formed to educate and empower women in the business world in a safe format that encourages honest dialogue and networking opportunities. This group meets quarterly. Our "Swishing Events" are held three times a year - allowing women to meeting together in a casual setting, enjoy networking, great food and drinks, exchange gently used seasonal items and donate interview ready clothing to local charitable organizations. Our Celebrating Women in the Workplace luncheon is a time to honor all the women in business that make your organization thrive. All levels of job experience are welcome at this event.     Christians in Business is a group designed to help you connect with other Christian business leader while giving you the necessary tools to integrate your faith throughout your work day. These events are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7:30 - 8:30 am at Downtown Perk & Dessert Oasis. The event is free - food/beverage are your responsibility.     geNEXT logoAshland Area Young Professionals Group / GeNext was formed as a way to give local young professionals a variety of networking opportunities. The main purpose for this connection group is expressed through the mission statement: "Engaging Ashland's next generation through social and professional interaction in order to retain and attract our area's young talent." Key events are held each year, with each focusing on something slightly different about the Ashland County community. This group meets quarterly. The Contractor Trades Connection group offers interactive discussions on the most current topics so that you can better serve your customers and clients. These meetings offer a form for work-related issues designed to promote and enhance the professionalism of those involved in the building and associated industries. We will provide information and education to help you stay current on the latest changes in products, technology, building codes/regulations, legislation and consumer preferences.
