Hands and Hearing - Do You Really Need Them?

One in 10 Americans suffers from a hearing loss that affects his ability to understand normal speech. While age-related hearing loss is the most common cause, excessive noise exposure is also a factor. There's nothing we can do to avoid the fact that we're surrounded by noise everyday, but there are things we can do to minimize its damage to our hearing. Simple ear protection is one preventative measure.
