Be Mobile:

• Do paperwork and tests at the table – but give as much of your information that you can on a tour. Visual relation is priceless.
• While you are on the floor, do hands on demonstrations – proper lifting technique, tool use, PPE training
• Take a break from filling out paperwork to introduce stretches that can be used prior to and during the shift

• Can you open this soup can with this pipe wrench?(You probably could – but is it the right tool?
• Would you put your hand in this box?
• How long can you hold this “insert small object” with your arm fully extended (working outside comfort zone)

• Videos are great – but video games are better
• Written tests are great – but quizzes that incorporate smart phone and tablets are better!
